John, Thanks for the link. The whole point of the article Was to "grow as a persuasive communicator" which, if you ask Me, is a goal of MoQ. Telling those debaters who have Yet to unlearn certain aspects of Formal debate as a sport in their Communication to "grow up" Would probably piss those people Off and does not encourage the point Of the article growing as a persuasive Communicator. Those that thought it was drivel and A waste of their time are the ones who treat rhetoric as a sport and could give a shit about the practice of Honost meaningful communication .
