Dan: Obviously, you fail to understand the difference between a debate and a discussion. This list is called MOQ.DISCUSS for a reason. Debates are destructive. One side seeks to demolish the other side. Discussions are constructive. They encourage the expression of opinion. A debate has nothing to do with "honost [sic] meaningful communication." Only a discussion can accomplish that. It seems pretty clear you didn't even bother reading the article.
