And the casual rhetorical trick of dropping "mad cow" in parethesis
after CWD, when it's a different disease (from BSE / HVCJD) ... albeit
in the same class.

And you were of course (again as you admitted) just tossing these
ideas into a thread where it was a side issue - which is what made my
ears prick-up.

The rhetorical exaggeration is precisley the stuff (crying wolf) that
causes people to discount and ignore what looks like a very real
threat - I agree with you. The real stroy makes "scary" reading as I
said already (I lived through the UK BSE / HVJCD episode).

Better not treated casually as we'd agree.
