Agree. However, the conflict between levels is a moral conflict -- should
an intellectual doctor murder harmful biological germs, etc?

Disagree. For the MOQ morality extends beyond how to get along with your
neighbors. It is the whole thing, from patterns of particles to patterns of
people and beyond. Reality -- all of it -- is morality. Pirsig has redefined
the term.

I don't think my granddaughter will be convinced when I try to explain
she has no self because I love her. But, I'll give it a try.
