[Platt]
Consciousness is an undetectable energy? I wonder what you call the thoughts
expressed in your posts if not the result of your "inner light," a
Hofstadter metaphor for consciousness? Also, put a couple of electrodes in
the right spots on your head and your consciousness, awake and asleep,
becomes a measurable force.

[Case]
What I meant is there is no specific energy unique to consciousness.
Electrodes measure electrical activity. If you are saying the consciousness
can be understood by measuring electro-chemical activity or by measures of
blood flow and oxygen consumption. Even I don't think these measures provide
a full account. (I have say simply that I think no account can be considered
full without address these effect.)

But I have understood you in the past to refer to a disembodied
consciousness that exists outside of the energy and matter, rather like what
Wilber calls spirit of soul.
