Hi Krim But how are these probabilities resolved. Some suggest only consciousness can do this, so that gives the inanimate an interesting problem.
The problem is really one about the nature of causality, which is an empty concept for Hume. Is mechanism the right analogy for cause, or is it the will/agency? I can see no knockout way to decide.
