[Platt]
You chose to emphasize the individual only when it suits your political agenda,
like universal health care which is nothing but collectivist program.

[Arlo]
This type of talk-radio rhetoric is sickening. I emphasize the value of human
life always and in everything. From being anti-abortion and anti-capital
punishment, to being against criminalizing consensual activity. I favor
universal health care because it is NOT a "collectivist program", but a society
recognizing that the value of human life is not monetary. Indeed, the true
"collectivist program" is YOURS, the vile social Darwinism you espouse that
seeks to let the poor die off for the greater good. Your allegience, as always,
is never to the human individual, but to wealth and power, measures by which
you seek to value human life. Unlike you, I emphasize the value of human life
at every turn, and raise it above social level wealth.

Poor or rich, human life is sacred. Born or unborn, human life is sacred. The
programs I support, universal health care and child support, not to mention
public libraries, EMT and emergency services, public parks and so on, are all
in support of the value of ALL human life, to provide an infrastructure by
which not only is all human life held sacred and protected, but has a maximized
ability to achieve power and agency that is not solely dependent on family
wealth and status.

THIS is the true valuation of the individual above "the collective". Your
social Darwinism, in its allegiance to the capistocracy and its
self-masturbating belief that the value of human life derives from wealth, is
what's sick. It might make buffoons like Limbaugh proud, but it should disgust
anyone who truly values human life.
