[Marsha]

I wonder how you could alter this? Ham's thesis was interesting
(ignoring the creationist stuff), but probably meditation is the best
process.

[Ron]
Marsha,
I have struggled with this for a long time. The brain is a strange
thing. I meditate,
and I am aware of the dichotomy of perception and try to be aware that
good lies in the bad
that opposites imply wholeness. It is the gut level, heat of the moment
experiences
that take the most concentration and are the most difficult. Knowing
these things
I should not experience anger, depression and anxiety but I do...I think
the biggest lesson
I've learned through it is that these emotions are every bit as viable
and meaningfull
as the positive emotions and trying to quell them is to deny a
meaningful experience.

It takes courage to live a honost life, good and bad is in me not the
world, to avoid
the bad and adhere to the good is living half a life. So, to answer your
question
of how to alter this perception I think having the courage to accept and
be open
to all experience, warts and all, is the best way to overcome this, but
that's my opinion.

This is my course with my tiny skull, to remain open in happiness and
pain, and allow
myself to feel.

Thanks Marsha
-Ron
