DM: Is not Pirsig simply saying that all our ideas about reality have to
be derived from experience, this is where we must begin, there is no
great problem postulating that things like the world transcend experience,
but this is always a logical-imaginative postulate derived from experience.
I assert-imagine that my attic has an existence even when I am not in it.
