Ah, I see your viewpoint here. I agree that
morals are quality as in 'What is Moral?' (What is
Quality?). We can answer, but the question remains.
Morals are primary in this reality... I really don't
know how to support this only with we, as humans, rely
upon morals daily and thus, morals are in this
universe due to our activity of them. Yet, this is
also saying imagination, like Krimel as opposed to
Case, are imaginary but real due to their presence
here in the universe and their activity and influence
even upon rocks. Now some might veer into, well, art,
human art is all in the head, morals are all in our
head, and imagination is all in our head, but
according to the levels these intellectual events are
founded upon inorganic, etc... And then the whole
talk on preferences, values, and possibilities
provides further information on these inorganic
foundations: value=moral, etc... but this is an effort
in using Pirsig's understanding in that morals are
inherent in the universe. I think morals are here
since we are moral and we are in the universe. At
this moment, I'm not fully able to reason, put into
static patterns, the why's and how's of this though.
