Krimel, Saying we are born with morality we cannot change is biological quality, saying how morals function as a result of societal pressure, which Shermer is clearly speaking of, is social quality; but choosing morals, regardless of society and overriding your gut feeling of morality is intellectual quality.

The intellectual quality of morality would be little more than gingerbread on the headboat.
