Are you serious saying personal views don't shape Stossel's reporting? Have you seen his work? Stunning! Micah Micah, Shermer claims to be a social Libertarian and acknowledges that some of what Rand says is sensible. But he devotes a chapter to her in his book "Why People Believe Weird Things." Stossel is a reporter and as such his personal views are not especially relevant.
