[Platt] I thought that Pirsig's idea that the world is a moral order was new, but has Christianity being saying this all along? Is it just Pirsig's differing moral levels that are new? [Ron] I feel given this interpretation you have something there, I started on a essay on this very subject but abandoned it apon a heavy re-reading of Lila. I thought I could tie christianity with MOQ. It's of my opinion they are very similar and both attempt to resolve dualism with value. Pirsig drives right to the heart of it and states that quality comes before good and evil and like your statements in the adjacent thread, both are required and are different parts of one entity, Quality. In Quality all is one. When this is realized that all is moral, good and evil disappear, they are truly one in the same? -thanks ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/ moq_discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/ moq_discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/
