Hey Ron,
Yes, many movies come off hokey, don't you think?
I guess, at times, what I know about a culture or the
history fills in the blanks or overcomes what I'm
watching. I overlay my perspective upon much, not
just movies. This goes to the heart of impartiality.
I just don't think it's possible (impartiality).
