SA, I had high expectations. I had a preconception of what I wanted to see. Been waiting 6 mo to see it. I think you're right there is no such thing as impartial when it comes to art. it either strikes a chord in you or it does'nt. Mohicans has that factor, it suspends disbelief. Jeremiah Johnson, the Hombre, other fine classics. heck, Dances with wolves is a fav too....Apocolypto gave me mixed feelings perhaps it was spending the greater half of the film feeling bad for these people. Though I did enjoy the panther eating that guys face. -R
