Hi Tara-
It sounds like you and the aide need to plan carefully together. 1/2 hour
is a short time, and I am not sure what your goals are and what else is
happening in the classroom. A short read aloud with strategy lessons might be a
good idea. Suggest that the students practice those strategies at home and
any time that they are reading.
