Hi Amy.
How many specialists are in your building/district that allows you to have that
much time? I'd love to know how you make that work!!

We meet with our groups 3-5 times a week for 40 minutes. Scheduling is very
tough! Sometimes one student will have to miss because of conflicts.

Subject: [MOSAIC] Reading Specialists Schedules

I am interested in hearing from reading specialists who work with small
groups of children. How many days a week do you see the same group of
students and for how long? I don't feel I am able to get enough reading in
the way it is scheduled at my school. I work with 3rd-5th grade and some
groups I only see for 45 minutes twice a week. We have district mandated
curriculum that the students are required to receive in their homeroom
classes.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Barbara
