Evaluating my year after reading about Readacide at
englishcompanion.ning.com
I realize I feel successful, because everyone was writing. The boys
were writing chapter books. They could not remember writing one and
two sentence papers when we started. My second graders were all
reading chapter books by the end. Many of them loved the Wimpy kid
series. I ended the year with great reading stamina and book chats.
Daily5 really helped.
