Just looked this up at stenhouse. wow!! yet another book i MUST buy! Thanks a lot. It does seem that it would help teachers bring some structure and accountability to their workshops. Even if you don't use the entire 8-box approach, it seems you might be able to pick and choose or let the kids do so. The element of choice is always a good one, for teachers and students alike.
