Dear Philley, let us assume that you use "inclusive" options and that you suggest the translation "trg" for the source "src" with probability P with the following xml markup: <np translation="trg" prob="P">src</np>
This is almost equivalent to have an additional phrase pairs in the phrase table with probability P and hence this alternative compete with all other hypothesis. In other words you are not assured that your suggestion will be chosen by the decoder. for instance could happen that your suggestion does not fit the LM getting a very bad for LM score.
