Normally I don't post day to day observations to the list anymore, but I am making an exception with today's warbler numbers. After the recent frontal passage and great warbler numbers yesterday afternoon at Carver Park, I was hoping Rapids Lake MVNWR would be active this morning. It was. Numbers rivaled any of my best spring or fall days in the past, and I am a little surprised by some of the high numbers continuing to move through.
