Yes, I considered Oz/QTk and even Oz/gtk. I don't feel confident enough with Oz to develop an IDE in this language. I understand the "eat your own food" motto in programming development tools, eg. Oz tools have to be made with Oz, while I find it too restrictive to some point. Why a tool should be a living example of a language possibilities ? I personally don't like the killer app syndrome.
Anyway, my programming style while developing this software is to make it as independent as possible from the implementation language. I mean, even if I make it in a language like C# or XUL, I think it would be possible to translate it in Oz without a problem!
