Why do you need/want WTL if you have XUL? Either you design your UI using WTL or using XUL, but I don't think they're gonna work together well at all.


I still have not been able to integrate VC7 with a cygwin makefile system and would really like to get some results on this project, that is why I would rather start work on the actual program then with
trying to figure out things that seem intangible at this point.

Using VC7 with the mozilla build system is supported. You need a special copy of the wintools, search for "VC7" on the win32 build page:
