I don't think is true, since I need my own profile, which is required not just for the long term but just to able to debug a chrome app since mozilla (firebird) cannot, currently, handle muliple instances of chrome driven applications under the same profile.
i.e.: I cannot run an instance of firefox and debug a XUL application opened by the same firefox.exe. So, either I can run my XUL app or firefox, but not both at the same time.
I think that your suggestion, that I only change where firebird builds browser/ will not suffice. Am I wrong?
