Maybe it my wording of the question that people assume I am demanding
that a vendor provide a product for a given product. (Although that
another set of potential customers to pickup). The question was really
asking "IF there would be one and "when".

What's I don't approve of is the no acknowledgement of the question
period. I've posted a canned response that could be sent, in another
post on the same subject. At least the poster of a question would get
acknowledgement of his her question.

That what's the problem in the Hardware Software world. Creators,
vendor's and developers have lost sight of the fact that:

The object of Making money in such an industry is that you need
customers/Consumers (this can be anyone from Mom and Pop to the US
Government, to IBM, or AOL. And if the consumer request a certain
version or a certain product. then in order for the company to make
money is to provide that product.

If its found that the base of users for a given product is so small that
cost will out weigh profits, then he she shouldn't provide that product
to that group, but it is incumbent on that company to explain that to
the consumers requesting such a product. If they do so tactfully, if in
the future that company can, then they will not have alienated that
possible consumer base for "any" of their products.

Do you see what i am getting at??

If it's "fixed", don't "break it"!
