Have you seen Netscape apologizing for not making a BeOS, native MacOS 
X, FreeBSD, ... product?

Of course, we are sorry that we cannot support all platforms (how about 
Amiga? :-) ), and this is, in most cases, sue to limited resources, more 
or less. IMO, it's pointless - it is implied.

As for Mac: PowerMac hardware is expensive, and Apple refuses to support 
software-emulators. So, Mac developers are rare, and no one happened to 
have time to actually create Beonex Comm. 0.6 Mac yet (although several 
kind people intended to do).
