I don't think anyone has mentioned how. Create a new profile like this:
mozilla -CreateProfile newname
or force mozilla to start into the profile manager:
mozilla -ProfileManager
Either way will narrow the cause to profile badness of some kind, or
eliminate that very likely possibility.
