*nod* I agree completely.  However, my point of contention was not so 
much how to get the page working, or that web pages should be visible in 
all browsers (which I wholeheartedly agree!) but that moz didn't render 
this validated page.  I've asked my friend to reset the page to it's 
non-working state so that the bug lookers can hopefully use it :)
