Allow me to clarify. I was disagreeing with the first sentence of the
quote. The second sentence is completely true. Apologies if anyone was
misled.

(Many of) the files in Netscape 6.x which make up AIM are not under the
MPL or NPL. However, I believe (and I haven't checked) that if you check
the XUL and JS files for the AIM frontend, which you can get from a 6.x
installation, you will find they are under the NPL.
