I am running windows with a UK layout keyboard.
on the left hand of the space bar is my "Alt" key and on the right of my
space bar is the "Alt Gr" key. My left arrow key is in an inverted T
shape of keys between the main keyboard on the left and the number
keypad on the right. Is that clear - maybe a US keyboard is different?

"Alt Gr" is not "Alt" and so to use the keyboard shortcut for back, I
have to press the key to the left of the space bar and the key to the
right of the righthandmost "ctrl" key at the same time. On my keyboard
they are just over 9 inches apart...
