A US keyboard has an "Alt" key on both sides of the space bar, no "Alt 
Gr" key.  That's probably why it's very easy for me to hit Alt + Left 
Arrow with one hand (do it with either my thumb or index finger and 
pinky quite easily).  Perhaps it would be possible for Mozilla to use 
Alt or Alt Gr + left arrow for back, I don't know though
