Why dont you change the default 3-pane view to the other 3-pane layout view, that way you can see threads, see long newsgroups and see the messages.. you speak as though you not aware of this? This would be more preferable to your 2-pane view + message center. in Edit > preferences > mail newsgroups I just dont get how you can read newsgroups in a 2-pane view. see the threads, and see the newsgroups listing you are dire to read cause you cant figure out that is the same newsgroup it was last time you used it. :) and read the messages at the same time? How is it possible in 2 pane view?
