Because I have absolutely NO desire to see a list of newsgroups 
while I'm reading messages in one newsgroups.

Any three pane view is NOT preferable to my preference.

It's not in Netscape 6.  

In NC4.xx, the group you were in appears in a window in the task 
bar while you are in 2 pane view.  You can change groups by 
clicking a drop down button that displays all the groups on the 
active server.  Going to Message Center gives you a full screen 
listing of all servers, groups, and message counts.

It's very efficient, and it's what I want.
