I do. Alt+Home is natural when my hands are on the keyboard. If my hand is currently on the mouse I transfer it to the keyboard just to press Alt+Home (which uses both hands). I know it's awkward but I have no choice. But my point is not *my* convenience. (I can work around it.) The point is that Mozilla has a design flaw that must be corrected. > Personally, I've never seen the idea of a home buttom myself But it should be an option for those who do. (I've never seen the idea of a Go button myself but it's there for the sake of those who do. Far more people have sense for a Home button than a Go button.) > Then again, > in 1600x1200, real estate isn't as much of a problem as webdesigners > who think that specifying font size in pixels is the way to go :-) It will not be a problem with 1600x1200. But it will be on a 800x600. Two points here: 1) Never assume that everyone's computer is the same as yours. 2) Never assume that everyone's preferences are the same as yours. 3) Never assume that everyone know as much as you do. A good UI design accomodates different resolutions and different preferences while retaining its intuitiveness. Home is a convenient concept. But if you have to tell your grandmother to press Alt+Home to go back to her starting point she would probably never do it.
