Thanks to all who contributed to my cause :)
I'm ready to give up here. By looking at everyone's headers who posted
in this thread, you are all using a windows version. BTW, I could not
view the headers using mozilla, I had to use my old Thoth Newsreader. I
am using the Mac OS X version (http://www.apple.com/macosx - based on
freeBSD).
Is there anyone in this newsgroup that uses the OS X version?
I can safely say that this version just doesn't work. I have used two
different computers, under 4 user accounts, and they all produce the
same results:
1. I cannot change the view to show only unread messages. The check mark
stays on "all" regardless of what I try to change it to. I try this
under view>messages>unread.
2. The aqua theme will not intall on the milestone version 92 using the
new themes option. I know I am using the right theme for the right
version. Thanks to Peter, I now know the difference between the two, and
where to get them, and I now know which theme to install for the
milestone or the nightly. BTW, is it just me, or is that developers page
for the aquamozilla theme not accessible?
This is extremely frustrating. I really want to use this, but after
using the aqua in Mac OS X, I just find it difficut go back to the old
look and feel. I could live with that, however, if I could at least view
my newsgroups with out having to sift through all the messages I have
read already.
