Unfortunately, that's not what LookOut uses when a user asks to format a message in rich text: it sends plain text plus an attachment file with formatting instructions. A recipient not using an M$ product doesn't see any of the formatting. This is essentially the same problem Robin has complained about in Mozilla: sent messages not looking as he wrote them, and with no notice to the sender. Personally, I also prefer plain text. But I have no objection to rich text in the MIME format.
