That is a missing font problem and no, MS OE is actually the best if you
have the proper font sets installed from Windows update. Netscape has
problems once in a while. The problems are bigger in Linux and
especially with Konqueror.
Basically what happens is that in one common font family such as Times
New Roman, you usally have all the international characters of that font
installed. So plain text users are happy. The problem begins when
somebody sends an HTML email in Comic Sans MS font with umlauts and
stuff, the other guy is screwed 99% of the time.
