According to your UA string you're still running NS 6.1 which is quite old by now. Upgrade to 6.2.2 To solve the immediate problem, close NS 6, locate your /mail/ directory in your profile directory, delete the file INBOX.MSF, restart 6 and delete the offending email. If this still does not work, then transfer all email to another mailbox, close NS 6, delete the file INBOX in your /mail/ directory.
