On 08 Oct 2002, it is alleged that Riccardo Cretti sauntered in to
netscape.public.mozilla.mail-news and loudly proclaimed:

<http://spellchecker.mozdev.org/> -- at least give the man the proper URL
(add 'installation.html' to go to the installation page).

No need to shut it down -- or at least there wasn't in the past. You have
to make sure the appropriate option is ticked in the Mail/News options, of
course.

The first time you use it, just select the default dictionary from the drop-
down and close the spell-checker; if you run it again, it should be OK --
that is, check the spelling without crashing on you.

Everyone needs some of that some times. . . . ;-)
