To get things to the glass, there are two sets of code, gfx and widget.
Widget is associated with the windowing side of things (PM) and gfx is
associated with the graphical side of things (GPI).
Each platform ports gfx and widget to be native.
Most of the performance problems people seem to be seeing relate to
drawing and things like that, so we think gfx is at fault.
So people with GPI and graphics experience are what we need.
