If this is true then why is Mozilla's UI so much faster in Windows ???
I would've thought that because of the XUL interface ALL operating 
systems would suffer ... so to speak ...

Specs:

Windows 2000 box ~ PIII450mhz w/128megs or RAM ...
OS/2 Warp 4 system ~ AMD K6-2 450 w/256megs of RAM ...

It would appear that somehow Mozilla's UI is optimized for Windows ...
