My understanding of MIME is an unknown is always type application/octet,
not plain text or executable. Application/octet appends nothing. This
seems to be just like them to not follow standards, just as a text file,
pref.js, should be readable even if it has a ctrl-z at the end as per
ANSI ASKII standard.
