My understanding of MIME is an unknown is always type application/octet, not plain text or executable. Application/octet appends nothing. This seems to be just like them to not follow standards, just as a text file, pref.js, should be readable even if it has a ctrl-z at the end as per ANSI ASKII standard. -- Bill <Memorial Day is May 27th>
