Hey there. I am the Webcasting director at my college radio station (see
my .sig) and right now I am trying to set up a second mp3 stream from
ourr server.
We have an Audioactive Hardware encoder now making a 56kbps 24kHz stereo
stream for people listening over ISDN or faster. I also want to make a
24kbps stream for people over analog modems.
Does anyone know of a SOFTWARE encoder that can do MPEG2 - Layer III?
At the two bitrates I am looking at, 56kbps and 24kbps, the MPEG1 sampling
rates of 32, 44.1, and 48 are too fast.
Thanks a bunch.
