I just got Lame 3.11 and compiled it for my Macintosh.
It all seems to work OK, but now I want to see how the speed can be
improved. Right now it runs at about 1/2 real time on a PPC8500/180.
I know MP3 can go twice that fast on this machine (Mpecker, Xing etc),
where should I start looking ?
I tried the -f option, but the sound went funny, with most sound on the
right ear, and something else on the left - is this normal ?
Any other ideas ?
