I had major problems especially when using -ffast-math with pgcc 2.95
and 2.95.1 (and if I recall right, before as well).

I switched back to using EGCS (aka gcc 2.95.1) and because i can now
again use all those optimization-switches mentioned in the Makefile I
don�t think PGCC can give me more speed.
