The use of this code is absolutely free(dom). Copyright law says nothing
about use. It is about copying :-)

The (L)GPL has a role only if you (re)distribute the Program(*).
You (the (re)distributor ) need the (L)GPL as it permits you the
(re)distribution of the Program. Without it, the (re)distribution
is prohibited by Copyright law.

* - Program = the copyrighted work

It really helps if you read the law and the (L)GPL instead of making
up things. ( this is aimed for all, not on Artemis personally ;
especially slashdotters should do this :-)
