I would; not because of the version number, but because of the "fast" method
which produces inferior quality.

(On a side note, the ability to sacrifice quality to gain encoding speed is
the biggest mistake to ever put in a codec. This is also one of the main
reasons I'm going 100% OGG - there's no "fast/low quality" vs. "very
slow/best quality"; it's always best quality. No more downloading crappy
encodings of songs in 320 kbps that sound like properly encoded songs at 96
kbps!)
