I hope you can join me on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. when I will announce my
campaign for Minneapolis City Council in the 13th Ward.
This year's city election offers a rare opportunity to debate the direction
of Minneapolis government, and I am eager to join the discussion as an
advocate of change. Critical issues like affordable housing, abuse of Tax
Increment Financing, airport noise pollution, and the changing nature of
urban economic development in the Information Age must be addressed.
The text (and perhaps the video) of my announcement should be posted on the
campaign website, www.gregabbott.org, sometime Wednesday or Thursday.
