As a candidate, I have to agree with Scott on local coverage, or
lack therof, but I think, the issue should be broadend to local media.
About a month ago, KFAI and public radio both asked me for interviews
regarding my candidacy for the sixth ward seat. Within twenty four hours,
both retracted thier requests claiming that they were only interviewing
candidates seeking the DFL endorsement. As it turns out, though there is
another independant in this race, I was the ONLY candidate not interviewed
by local media. It's nice to know that someone thinks we're too provocative
;), but we all have a right to be informed of our choices and of ALL of our
alternatives.
