Well, I guess as far as I'm concerned, anyone who
denies the existence of a "machine" doesn't really
understand what the goal of a political party is -
it's not just about having tea together.  To deny the
existence of the machine means either someone is not
being honest with you, or they are so deep inside the
machine themselves that they can't see it for what it
is any more.

Some candidates (Kallenbach, Brock, Cherryhomes,
Biernat,etc) benefit from the machine, and others
struggle against it - that's life.
